Micro-offsetting
Micro-offset printing is the term we have created for our most exciting sustainability initiative. In partnership with World Land Trust (WLT), we are giving our customers the choice at checkout to offset the exact carbon emissions generated by their specific order. The additional amount directly funds the protection of existing forests and the planting of trees via WLT. In doing this, the CO2 produced by an order is captured and locked away, directly reducing its carbon footprint, and helping mitigate global climate change. So if you’re looking for some super environmentally-friendly wedding invitations, or incredibly sustainable thank you cards, then micro-offsetting is for you!
Modern Style
We break our wedding invites and save the date cards into several different style categories. ‘Modern’ is one of these categories. We recommend you take a stroll through our collection of modern wedding invitation designs and modern save the date templates to see exactly what we mean. But generally speaking, modern as an aesthetic is the bold use of colours, sleek lines, and quirky typefaces. Likewise, the use of photographs which do not historically feature on wedding stationery could well be deemed to fall under modern. This page has our full range of wedding invites with photos.
Mohawk
This is the 324GSM card stock from GF Smith that constitutes our ‘Premium’ card offering. It has a light textured feel to it as well as a light cream accent. We think it works particularly well for elegant funeral announcements cards, as well as rustic wedding invitations.
Mounting board
In the context of our framed photo products at Utterly Printable, a mounting board (sometimes called a “mount” or “matboard”) is the premium uncoated card layered between your printed image and the frame structure. For our range of framed & mounted photo prints we use a 1.4 mm thick uncoated board, which gives the presentation a crisp, elevated appearance and creates a subtle gap from the glazing—enhancing the visual impact and helping protect your photo.
Mounting board plays several roles: it separates the print from the glazing reducing the risk of condensation or adhesive marks; it provides a clean border that draws attention to the image; and it ensures the assembled piece remains stable and flat within the frame over time. The width of the mount border varies with frame size, so you can get the polished, gallery-style effect no matter which dimension you choose.
Moving Home Cards
Also known as ‘Change of Address Cards’, moving home cards are essentially an A5 or A6 sized card that are sent out to friends and family when they move to a new house. It’s a polite way of letting you nearest and dearest keep in touch when you’re on the move.

Mug Dishwasher Safe
On our personalised mugs page, we note that our 11 oz ceramic mugs are “dishwasher & microwave safe for everyday fun.”
Here’s what “dishwasher-safe” means in this context: It means you can safely place the customised mug in a standard dishwasher without the print peeling or fading prematurely.
Mug Handle Colour
Our standard 11 oz ceramic mugs (our 330 ml size) have the option of a classic all-white finish or vibrant accent colours such as blue, green, pink, red or yellow on both the handle and the interior.
This colour-accent feature lets you personalise the mug in a more cohesive or playful way. For example, you might choose a muted handle colour to complement a minimalist photo print, or pick a bold contrasting handle to highlight a fun holiday snapshot.
